I need your feeds!

Agglodex is happily agglomerating 37 feeds by 8 users. It's found 1875 significant terms in 583 entries. This is all very exciting for me, but I need more data. I need people to register and add their feeds. Feeds from blogs are best, but Pandora, Digg, Del.icio.us, Last.fm, Twitter, Plurk et etc work too.

Once I get 50 or so people with active feeds in the system I'll be able to try out some comparison algorithms and find out which users are most like you!

There are some issues with certain feeds from certain providers (I'm glaring in your general direction Yahoo) but hopefully I can work the kinks out of Flickr, Pipes, and other feeds. But the more feeds you guys try out, the more I'll know about which ones work and which ones don't.

The next thing I want to do is to clean up the profile pages. I want to put the feed list, and tag cloud in a sidebar, and let the entries have the main stage. For those of us with a lot of entries, pagination is pretty necessary too.

I'm having fun building this, so have fun using it!

Something worth twittering

I take this whole lifestreaming thing seriously. I create stuff all over the web. It's my hobby and my prefered method of self-expression. I don't blog to be a blogger, I blog to be me, and to share what's important to me with the world. These days unless you are ready for everyone to know something, you don't say it on the Internet. It will live on forever in the bowels of some Google server farm, ready to be queried at a moments notice.

So let it be known that the way I'm about to set my status is no small gesture, no mere whim. Technology makes it easy to give words weight, but I understand this effect better than most and this is something worth writing down.
